1. Consent and double opt-in
The Inner Sanctum collector requires an affirmative, unchecked consent choice. Submitting the collector begins a confirmation process; it does not by itself make an unconfirmed address eligible for Welcome Wagon or ordinary marketing communications.
Mailchimp sends a double-opt-in confirmation request. Only a person who follows that confirmation path becomes a confirmed subscriber. Meadnyte records the subscription and confirmation state to demonstrate eligibility and honor later choices.
2. Subscriber information
The collector may process:
- email address;
- first name and optional last name;
- one or more discovery interests: Books, Poetry, Music, Film, Signals, or Everything;
- the express-consent action, subscription state, and confirmation event;
- the source page, collector version, and limited campaign attribution; and
- preference changes, delivery events, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe state.
Interests are used to tailor the Welcome Wagon and later House communications. Selecting several interests should not cause several versions of the same scheduled email.
3. Messages and sender identity
The Welcome Wagon introduces confirmed subscribers to Meadnyte and the rooms they chose to discover. Later Meadnyte Signals may include creative work, news, previews, invitations, or related House activity.
Approved sender: Aham from Meadnyte
Sending and reply channel: Inside The Chamber <social@meadnyte.com>
Postal address: 7095 Hollywood Boulevard, #846, Los Angeles, CA 90028
Message headers and subject lines will accurately identify the sender and content. Marketing emails will contain a working unsubscribe mechanism and the required postal address.
4. Mailchimp processing
Meadnyte uses Mailchimp, an Intuit service, to operate signup, double opt-in, audience records, preference management, suppression, automation, and delivery. Mailchimp processes subscriber data for Meadnyte and may process information through infrastructure in the United States and other locations under its applicable terms and privacy practices.
Meadnyte does not authorize Mailchimp to invent or alter House content or consent decisions. Subscriber eligibility and approved content remain governed by Meadnyte’s controls.
5. Delivery and engagement information
Essential email operations generate records such as accepted, delivered, deferred, bounced, complained, unsubscribed, and suppressed. These records help deliver requested communications and prevent repeat delivery after a person leaves.
Mailchimp can also measure opens and clicks. Meadnyte will use nonessential engagement tracking only where authorized, disclosed, and lawful. A decision to enable that tracking will be reflected in the Privacy Policy and relevant email settings.
6. Preferences and unsubscribe
- Use the personalized Manage Preferences link in a Meadnyte email to update identity fields or discovery interests.
- Use Unsubscribe in any marketing email to stop marketing communications.
- Reply to the House or email social@meadnyte.com if a provider link does not work.
Leaving marketing email does not prevent a necessary response to a request you initiate or a legally required operational notice. See Subscriber Preferences.
7. Retention and suppression
Active subscriber information is retained while the relationship continues and as reasonably needed for the purposes in the Privacy Policy. After unsubscribe, withdrawal, complaint, or invalid-address processing, Meadnyte or Mailchimp may retain a limited suppression record so the address is not inadvertently re-added or contacted.
Meadnyte does not purchase subscriber lists and does not add an address to the Welcome Wagon without the required eligibility event.
