Data Access, Correction & Deletion

1. Submit a request

• your name and the email address connected to your relationship with Meadnyte;
• the right or action you want to exercise;
• enough context to locate the relevant records, such as whether you subscribed or contacted the House;
• the state or country whose privacy law you believe applies, if known; and
• the format you prefer for a portable copy, if requested.

Do not send a Social Security number, password, full identity document, financial account number, or other sensitive information unless Meadnyte specifically explains that it is necessary and provides an appropriate method.

3. Identity verification

We may match information supplied in the request against existing records, send a confirmation link to the relevant email address, or ask for limited additional information. The level of verification will reflect the sensitivity of the information and the risk of harm from unauthorized access or deletion.

If we cannot reasonably verify identity or authority, we may be unable to fulfill some or all of the request. We will explain that result where permitted.

4. Timing and response

We will acknowledge and respond within the period required by applicable law. If more time is lawfully needed, we will explain the extension. We ordinarily provide privacy-right responses without charge, but may charge a reasonable fee or decline requests that applicable law permits us to treat as manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or outside scope.

Deletion requests may not remove records that must or may lawfully be retained, including suppression records needed to honor an unsubscribe, security and fraud-prevention records, evidence of consent or legal compliance, transactional records, and information necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Authorized agents and appeals

An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law allows. We may require evidence of signed authority and may verify the consumer directly unless the law provides otherwise.

If a governing privacy law gives you a right to appeal a denied request, reply to the decision with the subject Privacy Request Appeal and explain why you believe the result should be reconsidered. We will review and respond as required by that law.

6. Email choices do not require a formal data request

Use Manage Preferences in a Meadnyte email to update subscriber information or discovery interests. Use Unsubscribe to stop marketing email. For help, see Subscriber Preferences. A privacy request is not required to leave the mailing list.
